Stored XSS via insufficient content escaping
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in BoldThemes Bold Page Builder 4.6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into published pages. The plugin stores contributor-controlled page content without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping; published records do not name the affected element. Contributor-level access is required, and the payload executes when another user visits the injected page, allowing attacker-controlled actions in that visitor's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
