Browser script execution via unsafe anchor processing
Published Dec 26, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in the anchor tag of GROWI before 6.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. Public advisories identify unsafe anchor-tag processing but do not disclose the affected function, attribute, or sanitization failure. A low-privileged account and a separate user viewing the stored content are required; script execution is confined to that viewer's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
