PHP object injection via unauthenticated crafted input
Published Dec 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
PHP object injection in Tim Brattberg BCorp Shortcodes 0.23 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject objects via crafted input. Public advisories do not identify the affected function, request parameter, or deserialization call that accepts the untrusted data. Exploitation requires no authentication, but code execution, SQL injection, path traversal, or service interruption depends on a suitable POP chain.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
