Subscriber-level setup-state changes via nonce-free endpoints
Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Missing authorization in Awesome Support 6.1.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter setup state through AJAX requests. The wpas_dismiss_free_addon_page and wpas_skip_wizard_setup endpoints process state-changing requests without validating a CSRF nonce. Subscriber-level access is required; exploitation can dismiss the add-on notice or skip the first-time setup wizard without broader reported access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
