CVE-2023-49738Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file read via unchecked image path

Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Arbitrary file read in WWBN AVideo dev master commit 15fed957fb allows remote attackers to read server files via an HTTP request. image404Raw.php appends the attacker-controlled image parameter to the application root, then passes the resulting path to readfile() without restricting the target. No authentication is required; readable data includes a configuration salt that supports administrator takeover when chained with a separate flaw.
