Arbitrary PHP upload via extension-stripping temporary copy
Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in WWBN AVideo commit 15fed957fb allows remote authenticated users to place arbitrary PHP in a temporary path. The import.json.php handler strips the required .mp4 suffix from fileURI and copies the referenced upload into the system temporary directory under the remaining .php filename. Video-upload permission is required; the file exists only briefly, and arbitrary code execution additionally requires an LFI flaw.
