CVE-2023-4964Network attack vector

User redirection to malicious websites

Published Oct 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024

Open redirect in OpenText SMAX and AMX affected releases allows remote attackers to redirect users to malicious websites. OpenText has not published the affected endpoint, parameter, or redirect-validation error, so the concrete code-level mechanism remains undisclosed. Exploitation requires user interaction with an attacker-controlled request, and the bounded result is navigation to an untrusted site rather than direct server compromise.
