Improper input validation in MachineSense FeverWarn allows attackers on an adjacent network to execute commands or crash the device. Public advisories identify message handling on Raspberry Pi-based devices but do not disclose the receiving service, parser, or unsafe operation beyond missing input sanitization. No credentials or user interaction are required; a crafted adjacent-network message can alter device operation or cause a stack overflow and service interruption.
