Unauthenticated data exposure via ABAP List Viewer layouts
Published Dec 12, 2023 · Updated Sep 28, 2024
Incorrect permissions in SAP GUI for Windows and SAP GUI for Java on SAP_BASIS 755 through 758 allow remote attackers to read restricted data. The ABAP List Viewer permits unauthenticated creation of layout configurations and returns information designated as restricted and confidential. No account is required; crafted layouts can also alter stored configuration and increase AS ABAP response times without granting code execution.
