CVE-2023-4958Network attack vector

Permission misuse via frameable Central web UI

Published Dec 12, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Clickjacking in the Central web UI of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes allows remote attackers to misuse a user's permissions. Central UI responses omit X-Frame-Options and an equivalent Content-Security-Policy frame restriction, allowing an attacker-controlled page to embed valid RHACS endpoints. Exploitation requires a valid RHACS user to visit the page and interact with its deceptive interface, enabling actions within that user's existing permissions.
