Authenticated PHP source disclosure via unrestricted page parameter
Published Mar 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Local file inclusion in SourceCodester Customer Support System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read server-side PHP files. The page parameter in /customer_support/index.php reaches PHP file inclusion without restricting stream wrappers, so php://filter can encode and disclose an internal file. Any application account can reach the flaw; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of readable PHP source, including database connection code.
