Improper access control in Book Store Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to perform administrative actions without authentication. The /bsms_ci/index.php/user route accepts direct unauthenticated requests and exposes user creation, editing, and deletion operations. Network access to the web application is sufficient to change passwords and user attributes, enabling account takeover.
