Authenticated text-file disclosure via license path traversal
Published Feb 16, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Path traversal in LibraryLicense.php in YetiForceCompany YetiForceCRM 6.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read .txt files. The view concatenates the unsanitized license value beneath the licenses directory, appends .txt, and passes the resulting path to file_get_contents without verifying containment. An authenticated CRM account and a readable .txt target are required; the forced extension limits disclosure to text files.
