Unauthenticated stored XSS via contact-form name field
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Funnelforms Free before 3.4 allows remote attackers to inject script through a public form. The plugin accepts script markup in the contact form's name field, stores it without sanitization or output escaping, and renders it in the Leads view. No account is required to submit the payload, but execution requires an administrator to open the affected lead, exposing that browser session to script actions.
