Administrator-session script execution via unescaped filename
Published Dec 11, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Reflected XSS in DedeCMS 5.7.111 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser through a crafted link. The select_media_post_wangEditor.php component inserts the filename query parameter into the response without neutralizing HTML event-handler markup. An administrator must open the malicious URL; successful execution exposes browser-accessible data and permits actions with that administrator's web session.
