Unauthenticated memory corruption via crafted list parameter
Published Dec 7, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AX9 firmware 22.03.01.46 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted list parameter. The SetVirtualServerCfg handler accepts attacker-controlled list data and overruns a stack buffer; public material does not identify the exact copy operation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is memory corruption rather than a demonstrated execution primitive.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
