Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked deviceList length
Published Dec 7, 2023 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Stack overflow in Tenda AX9 firmware 22.03.01.46 allows remote attackers to execute code or crash the router via a crafted request. The /goform/setMacFilterCfg handler fails to validate the deviceList parameter's length before writing it beyond a stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can corrupt router memory and cause complete device compromise or a crash.
