Unauthenticated command execution via mac parameter
Published Dec 7, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in Tenda AX9 firmware 22.03.01.46 allows remote attackers to execute commands through the SetOnlineDevName mac input. The public record identifies /goform/SetOnlineDevName and its mac parameter, but does not disclose the internal command-building or execution function that fails to neutralize the input. Network access to the management endpoint is sufficient; authentication and user interaction are not required, and successful injection grants command execution on the router.
