Unauthenticated service interruption via out-of-bounds list write
Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 16, 2025
Buffer overflow in SetNetControlList in Tenda AX12 22.03.01.46 allows remote attackers to interrupt router service via a crafted list parameter. SetNetControlList writes attacker-controlled list data beyond the destination buffer because the handler does not enforce the buffer's bounds. Network access is sufficient and no authentication or user interaction is required; the published evidence does not distinguish a crash, hang, or reboot.
