Record deletion via forged administrative request
Published Dec 5, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in JFinalCMS 5.0.0 allows remote attackers to delete custom-table records through /admin/div/delete. The deletion handler accepts an attacker-chosen ids field from a cross-origin POST and deletes the referenced record without validating request intent. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to submit attacker-controlled content in the same browser session; the demonstrated consequence is deletion of the selected record.
