Friend-link modification via forged administrator request
Published Dec 5, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in JFinalCMS 5.0.0 allows remote attackers to modify friend links through an administrator's browser. The /admin/friend_link/update endpoint accepts a POST containing link identifiers and properties without a CSRF token, as demonstrated by a successful cross-origin form. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to load attacker-controlled content and permits unauthorized changes to an existing friend-link record.
