Unauthorized slide modification via unverified POST
Published Dec 5, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in JFinalCMS 5.0.0 allows remote attackers to alter slide records through /admin/slide/save. The published proof submits hidden gid, image, file, URL, title, subtitle, and sort fields in a cross-origin POST without a request-bound anti-CSRF value. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to load attacker-controlled HTML, after which the forged request can create or change carousel content.
