Authenticated database disclosure via unbound ancestors parameter
Published Dec 1, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in RuoYi 4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data through /system/dept/edit. The updateDeptStatus mapper substitutes the attacker-controlled ancestors field directly into a dept_id IN clause instead of binding it as a parameter. Exploitation requires system:dept:edit permission; the published payload discloses the database account identity, while further access is bounded by that account's privileges.
