IDOR in Ellucian Banner 9.17 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read other students' records via a modified bannerId. The retrieveData endpoint accepts a caller-supplied bannerId and returns the referenced student's card data without checking object-level authorization. A legitimate account is required; exposure includes personal identifiers, academic records, and contact information, with no reported write access.
