CVE-2023-49338Network attack vector

Query statistics disclosure via unauthenticated localhost endpoints

Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024

Information disclosure in Couchbase Server 4.x through 7.2.3 allows local users to view Query Service statistics without authentication. The /admin/stats and /admin/vitals endpoints return statistics without enforcing Query Service authentication. Access requires reaching TCP port 8093 on the local node, and the documented consequence is read-only disclosure of operational statistics.
