Stored script execution via unescaped site name
Published Dec 25, 2023 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
Stored XSS in Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the dashboard site-name field. The application stores the site name submitted at /dashboard/system/basics/name and renders getSiteName() values in multiple pages without HTML escaping. Administrator privileges are required to plant the value, and another user's browser must render it; the vendor rates the resulting impact as integrity only.
