Authentication bypass in Gradle Enterprise before 2023.1 allows remote attackers to gain system-user access through its web interface. New manual installations assign the same well-known initial password to the system user and accept it for the first successful login. Exploitation requires network access before the administrator's first login; unattended installations and completed manual configurations are unaffected.
