Stack-based buffer overflow in TRENDnet TV-IP1314PI 5.5.3 200714 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via RTSP playback. The davinci RTSP playback function passes a user-entered scale field to sscanf without validating its length, overflowing a stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation gives the attacker control of the camera operating system.
