Browser script execution via stored profile content
Published Nov 23, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Usedesk before 1.7.57 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. Usedesk identifies the profile as the storage and rendering locus but does not disclose which field accepts the payload or how output encoding fails. Exploitation requires low-privileged profile access and another user to view the affected content, exposing or altering browser-accessible data.
