Browser script execution via reflected filter input
Published Nov 23, 2023 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in the filter feature of Usedesk before 1.7.57 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. Usedesk confirms reflected XSS in the filter but has not published the affected parameter or the faulty output-handling operation. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted request, after which attacker-controlled script runs in the Usedesk origin and can read or alter data available to that session.
