Unverified password change in Bill Edgar WP User Control 1.5.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset account passwords. The WP User Control Widget password-reset handler accepts an email address without verifying a reset token or current password before invoking WordPress password-reset functionality. The attacker never receives the replacement password, but the victim loses access until retrieving the newly generated password from email.
