Code execution via uninitialized PAR parser pointer
Published Jan 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Uninitialized pointer access in Siemens Solid Edge SE2023 before 223.0 Update 10 allows attackers to execute code via crafted PAR files. The PAR-file parser accesses an uninitialized pointer while processing attacker-controlled file content.
