Code execution via PAR parser out-of-bounds read
Published Jan 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens Solid Edge SE2023 before V223.0 Update 10 allows attackers to execute code through a crafted PAR file. The PAR parser reads past the end of an allocated structure when it processes malformed file data. A local user must open the file; successful exploitation runs code in the current process, while failed attempts can crash the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
