Missing authentication in MachineSense FeverWarn devices allows remote attackers to read monitored sensor data through MQTT messages. The device monitoring path accepts MQTT messaging without authenticating the publisher or subscriber, exposing remotely viewable sensor data. Network reachability to the MQTT service is sufficient; the published record reports sensor-data disclosure, not modification or service interruption.
