CVE-2023-49113

Scan-result disclosure via embedded encryption key

Published Jun 20, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Cleartext secrets in Kiuwan Local Analyzer before master.1808.p685.q13371 allow local users to compromise scan-result confidentiality. The optimyth-insight.jar archive embeds GitHub credentials in InsightServicesConfig.properties and stores the scan-result encryption key in Encryptor.properties. Local access to the installed analyzer is required; extracting the key exposes encrypted results to decryption, while the bundled account's permissions are undisclosed.
