Browser script execution via unescaped server parameter
Published Nov 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Zediious raptor-web before 0.4.4.1 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via a crafted URL. The Announcements view copies the server query parameter into opened_server_pk, and an autoescape-disabled template places it unquoted in an htmx hx-get attribute. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted link; the injected script then runs in the raptor-web origin with limited access to data and actions in that browser context.
