Browser script execution via unescaped nama output
Published Nov 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in smpn1smg absis 2017-10-19 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via the lock-page nama parameter. The view/main/lock/lock.php page copies nama from the query string and echoes it into an HTML heading without filtering or output encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted URL, after which the injected script runs in the victim's browser under the absis origin.
