System information disclosure via JSONP hijacking
Published Dec 19, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in phpSysInfo 3.4.3 allows remote attackers to read system information through a crafted page targeting xml.php. The xml.php JSONP mode accepts attacker-chosen callback parameters and returns system data as executable cross-origin script. Exploitation requires a user who can reach the phpSysInfo instance to visit the crafted page; disclosure can include IP addresses, server names, and network details.
