Database read and write via pages.php injection

Published Feb 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024

Blind SQL injection in CUSG CMS before 7.75 allows remote authenticated users to read and write its backend database. The pages.php draft-page editor incorporates a crafted HTTP GET value into database queries, exposing boolean- and time-based blind oracles. A minimum-privilege CMS portal account reaches the flaw, which exposes password hashes and other records stored in the database.
