CVE-2023-4896Network attack vector

Authenticated information disclosure via plaintext audit logs

Published Oct 17, 2023 · Updated Sep 13, 2024

Information disclosure in AirWave 8.2.15.2 and earlier or 8.3.0 through 8.3.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data. The AP > Monitor > Alerts & Events > Audit Log page renders some sensitive information in plaintext instead of withholding it from the logged-in role. Access requires an authenticated WebUI account, and exposed device-management data can support lateral access to systems managed by the server.
