Denial of service in box_col_len in OpenLink Virtuoso Open-Source Edition 7.2.11 allows remote attackers to crash the database. The proof of concept reaches box_col_len during vector insertion with a crafted CREATE, INSERT, aggregate, and nested SELECT sequence, but the faulty operation inside that function is undisclosed. Network access sufficient to submit the crafted SQL is required; the demonstrated consequence is termination of the database process.
