Stored script execution via unneutralized admin input
Published Dec 6, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored XSS in /admin.php in DaiCuo 2.5.15 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary scripts in another user’s browser. Public records identify a crafted payload submitted through /admin.php but do not disclose the affected parameter, storage field, or output sink that fails to neutralize it. Low-privileged access and a second user loading the stored content are required; the resulting script runs only in that user’s browser context.
