Article deletion via tokenless cross-origin request
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Dreamer CMS 4.1.3 allows remote attackers to delete articles through an authenticated administrator's browser. The /admin/archives/delete handler accepts a cross-origin form containing attacker-controlled id and cid values without requiring an anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active session to submit the crafted form, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of the selected article.
