Script execution via unsanitized Menu Name
Published Nov 29, 2023 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Stored XSS in EyouCMS 1.6.4-UTF8-SP1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted Menu Name. The administrative changeTableVal endpoint accepts an HTML event-handler payload in the title value and stores it for later rendering when a front-end user opens Personal Center. Administrator access is required to submit the payload, and another user's interaction exposes that user's browser session to script execution.
