CVE-2023-48841Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Spreadsheet formula execution via unescaped CSV labels

Published Dec 7, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024

CSV injection in PHPJabbers Appointment Scheduler 3.0 allows remote authenticated users to place formulas in exported language-label files. The Language > Labels export action writes attacker-controlled label values into CSV cells without neutralizing leading spreadsheet formula characters. Access to the authenticated language-label interface is required, and code or data access occurs only when a recipient opens the exported file in a formula-aware spreadsheet.
