Unauthenticated service interruption via unlimited email requests
Published Dec 7, 2023 · Updated May 28, 2025
Uncontrolled resource consumption in PHPJabbers Car Rental Script 3.0 allows remote attackers to exhaust server resources without authentication. The pjActionAjaxSend email action accepts repeated requests without rate limiting, allowing each request to trigger resource-consuming email processing. A network-reachable booking deployment is sufficient; sustained unauthenticated requests can interrupt service, with no reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
