Unauthenticated command execution via unneutralized front-end fields
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
OS command injection in TOTOLINK X6000R firmware 9.4.0cu.852_B20230719 allows remote attackers to execute commands through its web front end. The shttpd sub_4119A0 function accepts front-end fields through Uci_Set_The_Str and passes their values to CsteSystem without neutralizing command syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation executes commands with the router service's privileges.
