Unauthenticated command execution via front-end field injection
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
OS command injection in TOTOLINK X6000R firmware 9.4.0cu.852_B20230719 allows remote attackers to execute commands via front-end fields. The shttpd sub_4119A0 function accepts those fields through Uci_Set_Str and passes the resulting value to CsteSystem without command neutralization. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation permits arbitrary command execution on the router.
