Unauthenticated command execution via front-end field concatenation
Published Dec 1, 2023 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Command injection in TOTOLINK X6000R firmware 9.4.0cu.852_B20230719 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via front-end fields. The shttpd sub_415534 function concatenates supplied fields with snprintf and passes the resulting command string to CsteSystem without neutralization. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants command execution on the router.
