Format string injection in affected FortiOS 6.4, 7.0, 7.2, and 7.4 releases allows local users to execute arbitrary code. Fortinet identifies the CLI as the affected locus but has not published the command, handler, or formatting call that treats crafted request data as a format string. Exploitation requires local CLI access under the super_admin profile, confining the reported consequence to an already fully privileged administrative context.
